• Stir LEUBIT® bitumen emulsion C40B5-S thoroughly before each use. Do not use any emulsion that has lost its homogeneity due to clumps of bitumen or threads.
• Observe the instructions from the machine manufacturer if mechanically applying LEUBIT® bitumen emulsion C40B5-S. Make sure that the machine you are using is suitable for bitumen emulsion according to the technical terms of delivery for bitumen (TL BE-StB 15).
• Heat the product slowly and gently so as not to damage it.
• Do not allow the temperature to exceed 75°C under any circumstances, as this may cause the product to separate and decompose, rendering the material unusable.
• Spread LEUBIT® bitumen emulsion C40B5-S onto the surface such as by spraying using suitable equipment. You may lay hot mix onto the surface after applying the bitumen emulsion, which is visually identifiable by the change in colour from brown to black.

• The product may be stored for six months at least 10°C (including frost-thaw cycles of max. -5°C for winter quality). You will need to stir the material to preserve its homogeneity under these conditions. However, we recommend using the material as soon as possible after delivery.
• Use any material in opened packaging as soon as possible.
• Repack contents from damaged containers into other airtight packaging, and use it as soon as possible.

• The substrate should be clean and dry. Remove any loose or oily parts.
• Sparingly pre-spray the damage using 04_LEUBIT® bitumen emulsion C 40B5-S (approx. 0.2 kg/m²) and leave to dry until blackened.
• Add the mineral admixture and cement* into the mortar tub, pre-mix, and moisten with 0.5 – 1.0 litre of water
• Add special bitumen emulsion and mix vigorously using a shovel, trowel or similar tool
• Adjust the consistency as necessary afterwards by adding water
• Immediately apply 08_LEUBIT® repair mortar 0/5 using a shovel, trowel or squeegee.
• Application time about 10 to 20 minutes depending on weather conditions

• Apply the product in dry weather at substrate temperatures of at least +5°C. The asphalt surface must be dry and completely clean. Mix thoroughly and spread the material evenly onto the substrate, and even the product out to a thin layer using a rubber squeegee or Schlämmeboy spreader.
• Briefly allow to set, and hand-scatter 3-5 kg/m² quality crushed sand at 0/2 mm grain, fine gravel at 1/3 mm grain or slightly bituminised sand onto the treated surface.
• Pay close attention to the safety data sheet as it contains safety information on storage, transport and handling bitumen LEUBIT® premix grout L.
• Use a light roller to apply the sand or grit if treating large surfaces.
• Roadways may be opened for traffic at a temporary speed limit of 40 kph or 25 mph immediately after scattering.

• LEUBIT® eco cleaner should be applied evenly using a cloth or roller over the soiled surface, and can be wiped off again after allowing a brief period for the product to take effect.
• Repeat application on the surface may be advisable depending on the degree of soiling on the surface.

• Apply LEUBIT® HVM type N2 in dry weather, not during rain or frost. The surface temperature should be above 0°C.
• Clean the damaged area using a sweeper or compressed air before beginning repair work. The surface should be dry and free of dirt or other contaminants.
• Carefully melt LEUBIT® HVM type N2 in a melting vessel equipped with a mechanical stirrer, indirect heating and thermostat to the application temperature of 160–180°C. Avoid overheating the joint compound to more than 180°C as this will inevitably damage the polymer additives in the compound.
• Prime the damage site with  LEUBIT® Primer Plus according to the instructions for the product.
• Use suitable lances or canisters to fill the product into the joints.
• Make sure that the LEUBIT® HVM type N2 is at the specified application temperature during application to avoid loss of fluidity and risk of cavitation.
• The joint compound may lose volume after cooling depending on the dimensions of the joint to be filled, and the filling process will need to be repeated. We recommend subsequent joint filling immediately after completing the initial work.

• Make sure that the LEUBIT® paving grout is at the specified application temperature during application to avoid loss of fluidity and risk of cavitation.
• LEUBIT® paving grout may lose volume after cooling depending on the dimensions of the joint to be filled, requiring repeat application. We recommend subsequent grouting immediately after completing the initial application.
• The joint should be grouted in such a way that you should not need to knock off any excess grout rising above the edges of the joint. Knocking off excess grout may negatively affect the adhesion to the sides of the joint.
