  • Ready-to-use LEUBIT® reactive repair asphalt 0/4 is suitable for permanent repairs on potholes, frost cracks and other road damage.

  • The product is ideal for patching edge strips, ramping up driveways and many other applications.

  • The product is especially suitable for heavily used roads. Reactive curing ensures short repair times and rapid reopening for traffic.

Application

  • Clean the site using a sweeper or compressed air before applying LEUBIT® reactive repair asphalt 0/4. Prime the site using LEUBIT® Primer Spray or  LEUBIT® Primer.

  • Apply the material with slight excess height. After that, wet the site with around a litre of water per 25 kg material; we recommend using a watering canister with a sprinkler attachment.

 

  • Compact the material properly using a plate compactor, roller or hand tamper.
  • We recommend sprinkling the site with fine crushed sand.
  • The road can be reopened for traffic after around fifteen minutes.
  • We recommend inspecting the site after opening the road for traffic, and resanding if necessary.
  • The material can be stored for up to nine months after the production date.

  • Avoid direct sunlight.
  • During the winter months: Warm the material up to room temperature in a room or warehouse before use. Used closed vehicles or a cover tarp to transport the material to the site.

  • 08_LEUBIT® repair mortar 0/5 is suitable for repairing, levelling, ramping, repairing thin-layer coatings and other cracks, and framing in inlets and gate valves.
  • Installation depth up to 15 mm
  • The substrate should be clean and dry. Remove any loose or oily parts.
  • Sparingly pre-spray the damage using 04_LEUBIT® bitumen emulsion C 40B5-S (approx. 0.2 kg/m²) and leave to dry until blackened.
  • Add the mineral admixture and cement* into the mortar tub, pre-mix, and moisten with 0.5 – 1.0 litre of water
  • Add special bitumen emulsion and mix vigorously using a shovel, trowel or similar tool
  • Adjust the consistency as necessary afterwards by adding water

  • LEUBIT® Bitumen premix grout L is used for sealing asphalt surfaces and base courses, repairing worn asphalt surfaces, and remedying asphalt surfaces that have become rough or porous for reasons such as construction faults.
  • Apply the product in dry weather at substrate temperatures of at least +5°C. The asphalt surface must be dry and completely clean. Mix thoroughly and spread the material evenly onto the substrate, and even the product out to a thin layer using a rubber squeegee or Schlämmeboy spreader.
  • Briefly allow to set, and hand-scatter 3-5 kg/m² quality crushed sand at 0/2 mm grain, fine gravel at 1/3 mm grain or slightly bituminised sand onto the treated surface.
